digitalfaerie > The Constitution Tree in Brookgreen Gardens. Yes, it was around during the signing of our country's constitution. The first time I saw this tree I cried. No, not because it's the constitution tree, but because it's so massive. Unfortunately, several of its limbs are missing. Ten years ago several limbs gently rested on the ground, making the canopy even more impressive. But it's still nothing to balk at.
