I have this strange fascination with baby dolls. Even without dramatic lighting and photoshop effects, baby dolls can be downright creepy. Must be that vacant stare that pulls me in.
Truth be told, the "blue" hue in the photographs were not manipulated in photoshop. I used an LED flashlight and used a custom white balance for the effect. This unique vintage baby doll really was a rare find considering my boyfriend dredged it out of the New River in the mountains of NC.
What's not to love with this face?
This baby doll was dredged up out of a river one day. Yet another one of my favorite presents from my boyfriend. I love how the mud has caked around the eyes, just emphasizing that creepy, empty stare baby dolls are so well known for.
