I have this strange fascination with baby dolls. Even without dramatic lighting and photoshop effects, baby dolls can be downright creepy. Must be that vacant stare that pulls me in.
Truth be told, the "blue" hue in the photographs were not manipulated in photoshop. I used an LED flashlight and used a custom white balance for the effect. This unique vintage baby doll really was a rare find considering my boyfriend dredged it out of the New River in the mountains of NC.
This creepy babydoll has the same angle and pose as a lot of the cherubs you see decorating cathedrals. With one minor exception - it's ten times creepier (and therefore, ten times cooler).
